I think these were likely worn by one of Charlie’s Angels on an undercover gig. Introduced in the 70’s they’re not as retro as some of the other more classic Shuron frames.

Not sure why, but my initial thought is that these are probably made quite often with rose-colored lenses. Seems like they might be a big hit with the ladies of the local red-hat group. Not sure how to work a frame like this into a younger look, but I’d sure like to see someone try.

Available in silver and gold and in a number of temple lenths and sizes, these large-lensed beauties feature a “faceted lens design” that allows for stronger prescriptions to not be an inch thick at the edges.

This frame will work nicely with a progressive lens.
